BLOOMFIELD, IOWA -- Some local high school students were showing off their artistic talents Thursday evening at Davis County High School.
The entire high school cafeteria will be filled with students’ artwork, and Davis County High School Art instructor Lory Chaplin couldn’t be more proud.
“This is a culmination of the entire year. So it is kind of a neat satisfaction for me to walk around and see all of the artwork that they have done all year long. It is kind of a neat finale. We have paintings, drawings, clay pieces and sculptures, all types of different things,” said Chaplin.
One senior at Davis County High School told KTVO what he enjoyed to draw.
“I mainly like to draw vehicles, deer, many many deer, and trucks. I just like to draw a bunch of realistic objects,” said Travis.
The students’ projects were judged Thursday afternoon, therefore they were able to see the winning entries Thursday evening at the art show.
