BLOOMFIELD, IOWA -- A Heartland man is facing a felony sex abuse charge for an incident that occurred on Friday, April 20 at a residence on Pine Street in Bloomfield.
David Guy Sadaro, 66, was arrested last week and charged with one count of sexual abuse in the third degree and one misdemeanor count of assault, display or use of a weapon.
Bloomfield police allege that Sadaro forced a female onto a bed in the residence and attempted to assault her.
The victim told police she repeatedly told Sadaro 'no' and attempted to fight off the attack.
During the assault, the victim said Sadaro had a firearm in his hand, but that he did not point it at her.
Court documents show Sadaro was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
His next court appearance has not yet been scheduled.
