KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A Kirksville woman is back in jail less than a month after she was placed on probation.

Brenda McIntyre, 53, is now charged with fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance.

According to court papers, McIntyre had managed to obtain prescriptions for Ritalin from two different doctors, without telling either doctor she had obtained a prescription from the other one.

McIntyre had just been placed on three years probation on March 20th after pleading guilty to a count of felony possession of a controlled substance.

She is being held in the Adair County jail under $10,000 cash only bond.
