JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- Missouri Second District State Representative Zachary Wyatt (R) announced Tuesday that he will be withdrawing his name for the Republican candidate in Missouri’s 3rd District.

“The last two years have been such an honor for me I will never forget the trust the people of the 2nd District gave me to go the Jefferson City to represent them,” said Representative Wyatt.

Wyatt has been accepted to the University of Hawaii to study Marine Biology.

“ This has been a dream of mine since I was in the fifth grade. It took a lot of thought and prayer, and at this time in my life I do believe that this is the right direction for me at this juncture in my life,” Wyatt said.

Representative Wyatt will finish out his term December 31, 2012. Until such time he will continue to represent the 2nd District.
