BARING, MISSOURI -- A Northeast Missouri man is being held in connection with an assault on another man. Christopher Carr, 29, of Baring Missouri, is charged with first degree assault and first degree burglary.
According to court papers, Carr entered another residence in Baring, where the victim was sleeping and struck him several times with a large flashlight, then left the residence. The victim was treated for injuries at Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.
Carr is being held in the Adair County Jail under $50,000 cash only bond.
