Tennessee fugitive arrested in Macon County

MACON COUNTY, MO. -- A fugitive wanted in Tennessee is now in custody.

Jeremy Knecht, 27, was arrested by deputies of the Macon County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday in Callao, Mo.

Knecht is wanted out of Dickson County, Tennessee for absconding from probation.

Knecht was on probation in Tennessee for selling cocaine and marijuana.

Knecht is current being held in the Macon County Jail without bond, pending extradition to Tennessee.

Knecht will appear before Judge Philip Prewitt on Thursday for an extradition hearing.
