Kirksville native accused of stealing items and selling them for a profit

KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A Kirksville man is accused of stealing items from a home and then selling them at Perfect Metals for a profit.

According to the Adair County Sheriff's Office, James Clark, 26, remains in the Adair County Jail charged with the class C felony of theft/stealing, value of property more than $500 but less than $25,000.

Court documents allege that Clark, along with an accomplice, stole a wood burning stove, roofing tin, and aluminum windows valued at  $1,000 from a Kirksville residence. The documents allege that Clark and his accomplice then headed to Perfect Metals and sold the items for $141. 47. Clark remains in the Adair County Jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.
