Kirksville man accused of breaking windshields at local car dealer

KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A Kirksville man is in jail, accused of breaking four windshileds at a local car dealer.

According to the Adair County Sheriff's Office, Michael Combs, 41, of Kirksville, is in the Adair County Jail, and has been charged with four counts of tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree, a class C felony.

According to court documents, Combs is accused of breaking the windshields of four vehicles at Cornerstone Cars on E. Illinois in Kirksville. Also in the documents, a Kirksville Police said he was able to identify Combs as a suspect because of  surveillance video that recorded the incident. 

$1,159.17 worth of damage has been reported.

Combs remains in the Adair County Jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.
