SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Officials at San Francisco International Airport have shut down part of a terminal after a suspicious package was found.

Airport officials say the package was found in Terminal One around 11:30 a.m. Friday.

KTVU-TV reports that one person has been detained.

A bomb squad is currently at the scene, and the boarding area for Delta Airlines flights has been evacuated.

Airport spokesman Mike McCarron told the San Francisco Chronicle that passengers are being redirected to other boarding areas so they don't miss their flights.

A Delta spokesperson did not immediately return a call for comment.
