MACON, MO. -- A search of a Macon home Thursday night leads to two arrests.

Macon County Sheriff’s deputies, along with Macon Police Department officers, served a search warrant at a residence on Ruby Street.

The search stemmed from an extensive investigation by the Macon County Sheriff’s Office regarding the manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine.

Arrested following the search were Russell Davis, 51, and Ryan Connell, 30, both of Macon.

Davis and Connell are charged with attempt to manufacture methamphetamine in a residence within 2000 feet of any school and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Both are being held in the Macon County Jail with no bond, pending the filing of formal charges by the Macon County Prosecuting Attorney.
