NEMO couple fights off intruder

MACON COUNTY, MO. -- A 911 call of a home invasion in progress Sunday afternoon has resulted in the arrest of a Macon County man.
 
Jon Teter, 32, of Callao, Mo. has been charged with first degree burglary and second degree property damage.

Macon County Sheriff Robert Dawson tells KTVO, deputies were called to a residence in the 400 block of North Linn Street in Bevier. Upon arrival, they were able to determine that Teter had broken in the back door of the residence and had physically assaulted the male and female occupants.

Teter was taken in to custody a short time later. He has been released on $20,000 bond.
