LANCASTER, MO. -- The icy roads caused a Schuyler County woman to drive off the road and hit a creek bank.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol,  around 6 p.m.Friday, Laurie Eads, 45, was driving down Route U close to Lancaster when the snow led her vehicle to travel off the roadway. Her daughter, Laurie Yearns, 18, was also riding in the vehicle.

Neither one was wearing a seatbelt.

They were both transported by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center.
