KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- For those of you that love Girl Scout cookies, you are in luck. The Girl Scouts are selling their cookies and they're giving you two weeks to place an order.

On Sunday afternoon, troops could be spotted canvassing Kirksville neighborhoods, trying to sell as many boxes of cookies as they could.

Each box sells for $3.50. The cookies come in eight flavors including lemon, mint, shortbread, ginger bread, peanut butter, coconut and caramel.

Members of Troop 9165 said 2012 is extra special because the Girl Scouts are celebrating 100 years of existence.  To mark this occasion, they said the shortbread cookies will be packaged in an antique styled box.

The proceeds of the cookie sale are used to help the troop members pay for camp and to also purchase supplies.
