CENTERVILLE, IOWA -- U.S .Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley is on the road again.  The Senator was in Centerville Monday evening as part of his annual tour of Iowa's 99 counties. 

Appanoose had the honor of being one of the first counties the Senator visited this year.  The Senator helped serve meals at the Faith United Methodist Church to the over 50 people in attendance.

Senator Grassley said it is important to him to have face-to-face interaction with Iowans.  He stressed to audience members to feel free to write, tweet, or facebook him about any concerns they may have and he will personally respond to them all. 

Monday evening was an open forum discussion and audience members were encouraged to ask Senator Grassley questions.  Among the variety of topics discussed were Meth production, raising college tuition costs and taxes.
