Kirksville woman behind bars after allegedly punching victim in the face

KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A northeast Missouri woman has been put behind bars, accused of domestic assault.

According to the Adair County Sheriff's Office, Clara Al-Saifrafi, 34, of Kirksville, has been charged with the class C felony of domestic assault in the second degree.

According to court documents, Al-Saifrafi became upset and an argument broke out when the victim didn't take her to the store. Al-Saifrafi then allegedly punched the victim in the eye, causing it to swell.

Al-Saifrafi remains in the Adair County Jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.
