MACON,MO -- A Kansas couple is being sought by authorities, in connection with a string of thefts that ended in a massive manhunt in Macon County.

Joshua Norris, 34, of Kansas City, Kansas, is wanted on three felony charges, including stealing and tampering with a motor vehicle. He was the alleged partner of Jimmy Hilt.  Police say the two were spotted attempting to steal stainless steel pipes from Rockhill Mechanical in Macon in the early morning hours of Sept. 20.

That incident kicked off a daylong manhunt in the Macon area. Hilt was eventually captured; however Norris managed to get away.

Also wanted is Norris' wife, Jessica Norris, 30, also of Kansas City, Kansas. She is wanted on felony charges of tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution.

Hilt has pleaded guilty to tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest. Hilt was given a suspended imposition of sentence, and placed on five years probation.
