OTTUMWA, IOWA -- An Ottumwa arrest on December 22 for allegedly plotting an attack on the high school will appear in court next month.

The case against Emily Kay Six,16, is being adjudicated in juvenile court, she will not be tried as an adult.

On Feb. 10, she will have a hearing to determine if she is to be considered delinquent or not.

The affidavit for a search warrant for Six’s home offers some details as to what police believe Six was planning

According to court records, a student at Ottumwa High School told a teacher on Dec. 20 that Six was recruiting students to take part in a plan to harm other students.

According to this student, Six planned to bring several guns into the school, including two AK-47's, and kill a number of students. The student says Six planned to do this at 2:30 p.m. on February 14, 2012.

On Dec. 21, police spoke with Six and her family. Six's father found a black notebook with pieces of paper torn out. Police were able to piece together the papers and found a list of names with "maybe", "going to happen" or "not a maybe going to happen" written next to them. Another list contained names of potential participants. Police then executed a search warrant of Six's home.

No guns or weapons were recovered from the residence. Police did seize a CD, a folded letter with names written on it, a flash drive and Six's cell phone.

In the search warrant affidavit, it is alleged that Six named her plan "Monster" and was upset with her family and kids at school.
