Fairfield man suffers from serious injuries after motorcycle accident

NEAR MEMPHIS, MO. -- A Fairfield man is hospitalized after a motorcycle accident in Scotland County, 10 miles south of Memphis.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, around 2:20 p.m. Friday, Kent Davisson, 49, of Fairfield, Iowa was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle, traveling northbound on MO-15, when a Honda, driven by Gary Warth, 66, of Rutledge, Mo. failed to yield.

Troopers said Davisson tried to avoid the Honda and lost control of his bike. He was transported by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. with serious injuries.
