MACON, MISSOURI -- A Macon woman facing numerous sex related felony charges will remain behind bars.

Christina Spaid, 34, was arraigned Thursday on felony charges of statutory sodomy, use of a child in a sexual performance and endangering the welfare of a child, along with a misdemeanor count of unlawful sex with an animal.

Spaid is accused of sexual activity with a blood relative under the age of 17, as well as sexual activity involving the family dog, all while her husband, Billie Spaid, watched.

She requested a reduction in her bond amount, which was denied after being opposed by Macon County Prosecutor Josh Meisner. She remains behind bars under $150,000 cash only bond.

Spaid is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on January 19.
