He is charged with five counts of third-degree sexual abuse, a class 'C' felony and one count of second-degree sexual abuse, a class 'B' felony.

Jefferson County attorney Tim Dille says the investigation has been ongoing for two to three months.  Dille confirmed to KTVO that there are four victims, all of whom were minors when the alleged abuse occurred.  The abuse spanned from 2001 to 2010.

The Fairfield police department was assisted by the Iowa Department of Human Services and both the Jefferson County and Washington County sheriff's offices.

Investigators are requesting anybody with information or questions about this case to contact the Fairfield Police Department at (641) 472-4146.

Hendricks remains in Jefferson County jail on $60,000 bond.
