KIRKSVILLE, MO -- With the start of the holiday season, you know what that means...kids are making out their list to Santa.
Well they'll be able to get that opportunity to share their lists in person to the big guy himself.
Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department is holding a "Breakfast with Santa" event at the St. Andrews Apartments on Saturday December 10th.
During the breakfast Santa will come in and mingle with the kids and take a picture with him.
Event Coordinator Robin Harden said it was Santa who came up with the idea.
"Santa is pretty high-tech." Harden said. "He shot us an e-mail saying he would be in surrounding communities near Kirksville and wanted us to have a chance to meet and see him here as well. We have been in constant contact with him and have already set things up."
There will be two sessions of the breakfast, one at 8 am and the second at 9:15 am.
The breakfast will be buffet style and catered by Hy-Vee.
Tickets are on sale now at the Kirksville Aquatic Center for $7.
