LABELLE, MO. -- A northeast Missouri man is being held on $10,000 cash only bond in the Lewis County Jail following his arrest on a felony drug charge.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office said Donald P. Martin, 46,  of Knox City is charged with possession of the controlled substance, methamphetamine.

Acting on a tip from the Illinois State Police, Lewis County deputies located Martin near LaBelle on Wednesday and pulled him over.

They said a search turned up finished methamphetamine, items used to make the illegal drug and several pieces of meth paraphernalia.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol also assisted with the investigation.
