KIRKSVILLE, MISSOURI -- St. Rep. Zach Wyatt, (R-Novinger) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open his new local district office.
Wyatt's new office is located at 119 E. Washington Street, right across from the Kirksville License Bureau. The representative said he moved in back in July but has just finished getting the office ready to open to the public. He said his office will be used as a place to meet with constituents and hold campaign events.
"This office isn't going to be paid for by taxpayers dollars," said Representative Wyatt. "This will actually be coming out of campaign funds. So this will also be campaign headquarters for when we re-launch my re-election bid."
In the future, Wyatt said some high school interns from Kirksville and Putnam County will be helping him out in the office with district mailings.
Wyatt plans to announce the hours he will be available in the office in the near future.
If you'd like to schedule an appointment or simply can't get in touch with him at his Jefferson City office, he said you can call his cell phone. The number is (660) 988-5225.
Also, he will be the keynote speaker Friday for the 9 a.m. Veteran's Day Assembly at Putnam County High School.
