OTTUMWA, IOWA -- The Ottumwa Community Players have been working hard over the late summer and fall on on a new production of, "Annie Get Your Gun."

The play is about the life of Annie Oakley and her life within Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.

Many of the songs within the musical are very popular, including, "There is no business like show business."

KTVO spoke with Director Crystal James of the musical, she says that a lot of time and efforts goes into making a production of this size.

"After Labor Day we began in earnest on this play, and people have been donating and dedicating their time day and night for the last two months. We expect record breaking crowds," said James.

If you would like to be apart of the audience, tickets are on sale at the Bridge View Center box office. Students are $10, Adults are $15.

The entire cast says that the music is appropriate from kids nine months old, all the way up to age 99.

The play runs this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
