LANCASTER, MISSOURI -- A northeast Missouri woman is seriously injured in a one vehicle crash.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Nancy Whitlow, 59, of Lancaster, Missouri, was driving late Monday night on Route C, a mile and a half north of Lancaster when the vehicle ran off the side of the road.
Authorities say Whitlow over corrected, crossed the center line and over corrected a second time. That caused her to slide off the right side of the road.
The vehicle then overturned into a fence.
The patrol says Whitlow was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car.
She was flown to University Hospital in Columbia where she is listed in critical condition.
