SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI (AP) -- A Springfield man said he has nothing against some neighbors who hang themselves by hooks threaded under their skin. He just wants them to do it somewhere away from his home.
Aaron King said his house is close to another home where the group holds outdoor suspensions. He said he doesn't want to watch, or have his children see it.
The Springfield News-Leader reports that the Anti-Gravity Relaxation Organization's Springfield chapter has been meeting monthly since August. They hang in the air by hooks threaded under the skin on the back or knees.
King said he doesn't want the group banned. He just wants them to move to a more private location. Springfield's law department is drafting an ordinance addressing the issue.
