KIRKSVILLE, MISSOURI -- Ray Miller Elementary School third graders got a chance to spend a day in court Friday.

The entire third grade class came in groups to see the Adair County courthouse. KTVO cameras got a glimpse of Mrs. Gray's third grade classroom's visit.

While they were there, the students learned about the County Clerk's office and voter registration. Then, they learned the tasks of the County Treasurer and Assessor.

The students also visited Bank Midwest and the Adair County Historical Society during their daylong field trip to Kirksville's downtown.
