KIRKSVILLE, MISSOURI -- The city of Kirksville has closed the playground area of Memorial Park.

The area is closed for the installation of new playground material and safety surfacing. The playground area will remain closed until around the end of October, when the work is completed.

Although the playground area is closed off, the basketball court and restrooms will remain open.

Memorial Park is located on Cottonwood Street in Kirksville.
