KANSAS CITY, MO. -- The family of a missing Missouri baby is hoping tens of thousands of NASCAR fans spur efforts to locate the child.
Lisa Irwin, the 10 month old baby, was last seen nearly a week ago. Her parents reported her missing Tuesday, saying she'd been snatched from their Kansas City home sometime overnight.
Her aunt, Ashley Irwin, handed out thousands of flyers Sunday in a parking lot at Kansas Speedway during a NASCAR Sprint Cup race. She's been working to raise awareness nationwide about her niece's disappearance and said she wants to get the message to the 80,000 fans attending Sunday's race.
Investigators have said they have no solid leads or suspects in the case despite an extensive search that included the family's neighborhood, nearby woods and a landfill.
