KIRKSVILLE, MO --
Many Adair County residents got to roll up their sleeves Thursday afternoon at The NEMO Fairgrounds in Kirksville as people got flu vaccinations at The Adair County Health Department's drive thru clinic.

The event also helps first responders prepare for an emergency situation here in The Heartland.

There was no cost for the shots.

Organizers were warning though that those who have had reactions to the vaccine in the past, have breathing problems, or have an allergy to eggs shouldn’t get vaccinated.

If you missed this flu clinic, there are other opportunities to get your flu shot at The Adair County Health Department at 1001 South Jamison Street in Kirksville.
