Driver sought in fatal Missouri hit and run crash

INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI (AP) -- INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (AP) - Independence police are looking for a driver who took off after hitting and killing a 58-year-old bicycle rider. The name of the victim hasn't been released. Police said the motorist left without stopping after the 10 p.m. The Kansas City Star reported that the motorist was driving a dark van or sport utility vehicle. Police are asking for tips from anyone with information.
