KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- Kirksville residents got a chance to praise and donate to a good cause Sunday.

The Christian Community Food Depot held a Country Gospel Jam session this afternoon at The Chariton Valley Pavilion.

People came out and enjoyed some good old country gospel music while having lunch.

The event was hosted by Jerry McMain and special musical guests.

This also was an opportunity to help out the hungry people of Northeast Missouri. For admission people donated non-perishable foods. They also had a chance to make monetary donations and raise funds for the organization.

The Christian Community Food Depot helps to feed about 150 families in the area.

For more information on how you can help, make a check out to The Christian Community Food Depot and mail to Harold Osborn 1412 E. McPherson Kirksville, MO 63501 or call (660) 665-3624.
