Roadwork scheduled for Adair County

MACON,MO -- The Missouri Department of Transportation announces roadwork in several areas throughout Adair County will be done next week, reducing traffic to one-lane in the work zone areas.

• MO 6 - Sept 12 through Sept 29,  routine bridge work 5 miles west of US 63, Chariton River Bridge, one lane traffic with 13 foot width restriction on the bridge,  from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. daily, Portable Traffic Control signs will be in place. 
• Route K - Sept 12 & 13, one lane traffic from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for maintenance patching in various locations from MO 11 to MO 6.
• Route DD - Sept 14, one lane traffic from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for maintenance patching in various locations from Doe Ridge Trail to Rte K.
• MO 149 - Sept 15 & 16, one lane traffic from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for maintenance patching in various locations from Rte AA to MO 6.

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution and pay close attention in the work zone. The work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
