CLARK COUNTY, MO. -- Three Heartland men were taken into custody after investigators say a state trooper pulled them over in Clark County and found a meth lab in their pickup truck.
At approximately 9:34 p.m. on August 20, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper stopped a 1986 Ford F-150 pickup for a traffic violation near the intersection of U.S. Highway 136 and Route B in Clark County.
The Highway Patrol said the trooper discovered the pickup contained a meth lab and other drug-related items.
The driver and two passengers were then arrested.
Jacob A. Anderson, 21, of Keokuk, Iowa, was arrested for felony attempt to manufacture the controlled substance, methamphetamine; felony possession of methamphetamine; felony possession of meth-related drug paraphernalia; misdemeanor possession of marijuana; misdemeanor possession of marijuana-related drug paraphernalia; and for a lane violation.
Morris I. Ricketts, 41, of Carthage, Illinois, was arrested for felony attempt to manufacture the controlled substance, methamphetamine and felony possession of meth-related drug paraphernalia.
Zachary R. Boecker, 19, of Keokuk, Iowa, was arrested for felony attempt to manufacture the controlled substance methamphetamine; felony possession of a methamphetamine; felony possession of meth-related drug paraphernalia; and two felony drug-related warrants from Lee County, Iowa.
All three subjects were taken to the Clark County Jail with a bond set at $50,000 each.
Boecker has an additional bond of $11,500 for the two Iowa felony warrants.
The Patrol was assisted in the investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
