FAIRFIELD, IOWA -- Fairfield's Live on the Square Summer Concert Series was rocking Saturday night with the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist Dennis Albee.
The crowd was amazed that the one man band wonder could play such a variety of music from rock and roll to rhythm and blues classics. Most were just happy to enjoy some outdoor live entertainment.
The Fairfield Rotary Club was on hand to raise money for a water project they are working on in Nepal.
After Dennis Albee, the crowd jammed to the Beaker Brothers Band, a classic rock cover band from Iowa City.
The concert series was free to the public.
The next and last Live on the Square concert this summer is September 17, starting at 7 pm and featuring "Orquesta Alto Maiez, also known as "The Salsa Band." They specialize in latin jazz and salsa music. The band has toured around the United States and Europe.
