KIRKSVILLE, MO -- On Wednesday, August 24 at approximately 6:00 a.m., crews with Ameren UE will briefly stop traffic on US 63 north of Kirksville between Brewington Avenue and Benton Road. The closure should last for a brief duration of five to ten minutes.
MoDOT is working in conjunction with Ameren UE to allow power line installation at this location, as part of the Alternate Route 63 project.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the area during this time. The work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
