KIRKSVILLE, MO -- The City of Kirksville announce a partnership between the City of Kirksville and the Kirksville R-III School District will allow for surface improvements to the Hike/Bike Trail along the Kirksville R-III School Campus. A donation was made to the school for improvements to be made to the trail from the YMCA crossing along Hamilton to just south of the Middle School entrance. This portion of the trail will be closed from Friday, August 19, 2011, through Sunday, August 21, 2011. The trail will reopen on Monday morning, August 22, 2011.
