ST. JOSEPH, MO -- The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that two bridge decks in Sullivan County have been scheduled for linseed treatment on Monday, August 15, 2011 (weather permitting). In each case, the bridge will be narrowed to one lane and traffic control signals will be in place.

8:00 am to 10:00 am - MO 6, the bridge over Muddy Creek

10:30 am 12:30 pm - MO 5, the bridge over Elmwood Creek

These two are newer bridges that are part of MoDOT's Safe & Sound Bridge Program. Linseed is applied to new decks to help seal water out and extend the life of the driving surface.
