LEE COUNTY, IOWA -- A Fairfield coach who pleaded guilty to being under the influence of alcohol while driving her team to a meet was sentenced on Tuesday.
According to the Lee County Clerk of Court, Susie Lynn Steinbeck will not spend any additional time in jail despite pleading guilty to one count of driving under the influence and one count of child endangerment.

The drunk driving conviction carried a 48-hour jail sentence, while the child endangerment charge could have kept Steinbeck in jail for 180 days; however, a Lee County judge gave Steinbeck credit for time already served and suspended the remainder of her sentence because she had participated in a drug treatment program.
Viewers may remember Steinbeck was arrested in the morning by an Iowa State Patrol Officer after another driver complained about her erratic driving.
Steinbeck was in a Fairfield school vehicle with six members of the Fairfield girl's golf team.
The team was on its way to a meet.
Steinbeck has since resigned from her job as a coach and middle school teacher with the Fairfield district.
