OTTUMWA, IOWA -- An Ottumwa woman will spend most of the next eight years in a federal prison.
Tina Marie Dyer, 46 of Ottumwa was sentenced on Thursday to 94 months in prison after reaching a plea deal with the U.S. Attorney's office.
Dyer pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to deliver more than 50 grams of methamphetamine and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Dyer received 94 months on both counts but the judge ordered them served concurrently.
As part of the agreement Dyer has to surrender possession of a Smith and Wesson model 659.
Dyer was also charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver but that charge was dropped as part of a plea deal.
Dyer was arrested in March of 2010, when Southeast Iowa Interagency Drug Task Force Officers raided Dyer's home.
