IOWA-MISSOURI -- Average retail gasoline prices in Iowa have risen 1.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.50 per gallon on Monday. This compares with the national average that has increased 0.5 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.57 per gallon, according to gasoline price website IowaStateGasPrices.com.
Including the change in gas prices in Iowa during the past week, prices Monday were 84.9 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 25.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 19.8 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 84.0 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
Average retail gasoline prices in Missouri have risen 5.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.38 per gallon on Monday.
Including the change in gas prices in Missouri during the past week, prices Monday were 91.7 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 20.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
