KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Be ready to pack some patience if driving down east Normal Street in Kirksville.

The City of Kirksville has temporarily closed one lane at the intersection of Normal Street and Cottage Grove Avenue.

The closure was done to allow for the construction of new storm drainage and street surfacing at that intersection. Traffic will be limited to one lane on both streets for approximately two weeks.

Crews hope to reopen all lanes on July 8^th. In the meantime use caution when driving in this area and be aware of road workers.
