MOULTON, IOWA -- The Davis County Sheriff's Department says a Lancaster man was killed in a one vehicle accident just north of the Missouri state line.
First responders from Moulton, Appanoose County and Davis County responded to a call just after 4 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 202 south of Moulton, Iowa.
There they found a vehicle belonging to Lewis Paul Forsythe, 65, of Lancaster, Missouri overturned on the side of the road.
Forsythe was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was taken to the Iowa State Medical Examiner's office in Ankey where an autopsy will be performed.
