KIRKSVILLE, MO -- A Kirksville-area teen is behind bars, accused of stealing a pickup truck from his own mother.

Dakota Davis, 19, is charged with stealing a motor vehicle, a class C felony.
    
Court documents say the pickup was taken from the residence of Peggy Sue Davis on Highway 3 south of Kirksville.
    
Dakota Davis is being held in the Adair County Jail on $25,000 cash only bond.
