Southeast Iowa man rescued from flooded creek in Davis County, Iowa
DAVIS COUNTY, IOWA -- A Heartland man is rescued from a flooded creek early Monday morning.
According to the Davis County Sheriff's Office, their deputies along with the Bloomfield Fire Department responded to a water rescue just before 6:30 a.m. near 160th street and US 63 North of Bloomfield.
A Southeast Iowa man who's name and age has not been released, was on a paper route when he drove into a flooded creek and got struck. Luckily, he was able to call 911 for help.
Crews were able to pull him to safety a short time later.
He was checked out at the scene and appeared to be just fine.
