Trial date set for Snow

OTTUMWA, IOWA -- An Ottumwa man will stand trial for murder later this summer.

According to Iowa Court records, Bobby Joe Snow is scheduled to face trial on a charge of 2nd Degree Murder on August 16.

Snow allegedly assaulted James Lee McElroy on May 15, McElroy later died at a Des Moines hospital.

Snow remains in the Wapello County Jail on 500-hundred thousand dollar cash only bond.

His next court appearance will be on June 20 for a bond review hearing.
