Cocaine bust lands three in jail

KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Three Heartland women are behind bars following an alleged cocaine bust.
    
According to court papers, a Kirksville police officer conducted a traffic stop, and found an open container of alcohol and a substance that tested positive for cocaine in the vehicle.
  
The driver, Cristina Hunter, 29, of Macon is charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated, and operating with a suspended license.
    
Mary Roberts, 20, and Latasha Houston, 22, both of Macon, are charged with possession of a controlled substance.
    
The three women are being held in the Adair County Jail on $25,000 cash only bond.
