Iowans scrambled Wednesday to finish preparations for the full fury of the flooding Missouri River, even as forecasters said the next 10 days will bring more rain than usual.

Man hospitalized after stabbing in Keokuk

A stabbing Wednesday morning in Keokuk sent one man to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City with several stab wounds to his lower back.
