Kirksville high school graduates its seniors

KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Kirksville High School seniors finally made it to the closing chapter of their high school years.

The Pershing Arena on The Truman State University campus hosted the commencement cermony Sunday afternoon. There were performances from The Kirksville High School concert chior and band.

In all, 188 students graduated. This year's Valedictorian was Mohammad Nabil Alghalith. Earning the title of Saluatorian was Katherine Maxwell.

Remarks to the students were made by school Principal Randy Mikel and Superintendent Pat Williams. The Presentation of Diplomas was made by Board of Eduacation President Larry Logston.

KTVO congratulates all of today's graduates.
