KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Fourth grade students at Ray Miller Elementary School took part in Field Day out on the football field Tuesday morning.

The students signed up for events that they wanted to participate in.

Those included running events with individual races and relay races. Students could also sign up for the long jump, longest soccer kick, Frisbee, softball and football throw.

Teachers, coaches, parents, the nurse and volunteers got to enjoy the sunshine from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. as well.

The weather was perfect for the third graders who had Field Day Monday and it looks to be perfect again for the fifth graders on Wednesday.
